Hi I have been diagnosed with spinal stenosis, myelopathy and OPLL (Ossification Posterior Longitudinal Ligaments. I have seen two surgeons who said that I have to have a posterior cervical decompression from C3-C7 with fusion. I am going to get a third opinion on 11/24/08. Hello all, Ever since I started taking MS Contin I have noticed that I am eating a lot more and craving sweets big time. Its gotten really bad and I know its the medication as it happend right away. I am going to mention it to my Dr at my next visit but I thought I would ask if anyone has noticed that they are craving foods while on there meds. Is this possible it doesn't mention that this is a side effect to Morphine. In fact it says the opposite that you may not want to eat. I am looking forward to hearing that I am not alone here and if there is anything I can do about it. I guess it all boils down to will power and to just stop eating so much. espeically Junk food but I am mostly craving cookies, cakes, pie's and candy.
